P. Cakes Eats Pancakes and Gets Tired
Eamonn gnawed on his very first pancake this morning. He seemed to like it, which was a relief, since you can't be a Williams boy and not like pancakes.
He's in a transitional stage with his first morning nap. After being awake for about an hour, he starts to get fussy and cry a bit and suck on my arm and rub his eyes, so I take him up and start to feed him and put him down, and after some calories he pops right back up and has no more interest in the nap. So he's going to sleep about 2.5 hours after getting up. He fights it a bit in his Eamonn way, which is to cry hard for about a minute and then fuss for a while and then play in his crib and then go to sleep (we all know that this is different from the Finn way, enough said). Today in the midst of what Jeff calls his "orchestra conducting," when E sits up and waves his hands wildly, he fell asleep sitting up, with his head on the bumper. It's tough being a baby.

Love the photo of the video monitor screen! Both of my boys fell asleep flopped over from sitting up a lot in a one week period before they figured out how to lay down on their own. I usually went in and laid Cal down but with Henry we didn't have a video monitor. Poor guy! So jelaous of the beautiful weather in previous post. I keep seeing that it's sunny out and getting us ready to head outside only to last for 10 minutes before the boys hands are red with cold-are mine the only kids that won't wear gloves or mittens?!?!
